Halloween candy is clearanced off the shelf just in time to make room for Christmas candy. The 20-foot-tall skeleton and Barbie yard art are replaced with inflata-Santa. There isn’t room left to celebrate all the other important holidays in November. To prove my point, when was the last time you celebrated Dia De Los Muertos, World Vegan Day, Deviled Egg Day, Look for Circles Day, Men Make Dinner Day, America Recycles Day, Clean Your Refrigerator Day, National Philanthropy Day, or World Origami Day? (All real holidays in November.) We want to make sure Veterans Day and Thanksgiving are given the thanks they deserve. To show our appreciation, we are excited to be giving gift certificates to local veteran-owned businesses or donating $25 to Utah Honor Flights for all junk removal or commercial moving that is booked this November (paid out on completion of the service).
